Author, Illustrator, Watercolor Artist

I started working freelance designing cards and writing captions for several greeting card companies. Soon I began working exclusively creating "The Phyllis Line" for Kristin Eliot located in Beverly. Then with my sister-in-law Joy we started our own card company Joy-Phyl Greetings. Joy painted flowers and I painted cats. We also sold our cards matted and framed in mirrors as well. I have taught writing and illustrating children books over the years at the Cambridge Center and Brookline Center for Adult Ed. I plan to teach watercolor in Jan. 2022. My watercolors now include humorous cartoon animals, children and realistic landscapes, seascapes, animals and specially cats. I am the author and illustrator of four books for children and three books for adults.
